On September 28, Indonesia was hit by a devastating earthquake with subsequent tsunami. Over 2100 people have tragically lost their lives and more than 65000 houses were destroyed.

With your support Save the Children was able to act quickly and be on the ground with life-saving help. So far, your support has reached 11759 children and adults. Terima kasih! (Thank you!)

Your generous gift has ensured that children have been reunited with their families. Rizky (7) was reunited with his family after being separated for a long 14 days.

Thanks to supporters like you, we distribute 40000 litres of clean water every day from 14 water stations in Palu and Donggala. An additional 6 water stations are under construction.

You have contributed to the construction of 12 child friendly spaces, where children can get a break from the harsh reality and get help to process what they have experienced.

With your support, more than 1930 households and 6646 children and adults received hygiene kits.

Together, we supported 1392 families with temporary shelter. Our goal is to reach 7000 families in the near future.

Because rice fields and farms have been destroyed, there is a high risk of food shortages. Your gift will give children and families access to food, and save children from becoming malnourished.

THANK YOU!
