Children Speak Out: Trafficking risk and resilience in Southeastern Europe report was launched June 2007.
Child Trafficking Response Programme (CTRP) of Save the Children, implemented in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and UN administered province of Kosovo, will be launching qualitative, child-centered, participatory research reports on risk and resilience of children to trafficking. The research project implemented in the above countries/entities started in March 2006 aiming to give answers to following questions:
The research project designed at regional level was carried out by national research teams including Save the Children staff. The research included a literature review, individual interviews and focus-group discussions with approximately 600 children, key informant interviews (community leaders, social workers, health workers, NGOs etc) and observations.
The launch of the national research reports will be followed by a regional report on findings and methodology to be launched in September/October 2007. For more information on the research and national reports please contact:
